iTouch

So my husband won an iTouch through his job to give me for Christmas.  Well, I have downloaded some games and apps, but I wanted to get some ideas on what an iTouch can do.  Are there other things it can do that I have no idea about (I do know you can put music and movies on it as well)?  Do you have any suggestions on apps or games I should get?  I just hate to see it become a handheld video game when I am sure it can do so much more than I know about.  Any help would be appreciated!

Re: iTouch

  • I use mine as a regular iPod, listening to music, books, and watching movies on it (though it's a tiny screen for movies, so I only do that on rare occasion).  Of course, I also use it for games.  There are TONS of cool apps out there.  I have the Weight Watchers app, so I can calculate points while I am out.  And the mint.com app is cool too. I also frequently use YouVersion and the Dave Ramsey app.

  • DH got one for Christmas...and suddenly, I didn't exist ;).. short-lived, but he had lots of fun downloading apps, etc.  He does use it as an iPod, but checks his emails, plays games, and if you use Skype (and need to call people), it can do that easily.
