Hello ladies!
I have not been around much since the holidays because work has been crazy busy, but I miss chatting with all of you!!
Anyway, I could really use some thoughts/prayers for Sunday and Monday...
I have both an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled for Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital and I would appreciate some T&P... I am super nervous about the procedures.
I had an ERCP done the day after I had my gallbladder removed (in 2004) and I was awake through the whole procedure, even though i was supposed to be asleep (my IV came undone and the docs did not listen to me telling them that I was still awake... they strapped my mouth open and shoved the scope in. It was HORRIBLE)! So I have a lot of anxiety about having the upper GI done.
I have never had a colonoscopy, so I am pretty worried about that too, not to mention the 34, yes THIRTY FOUR pills that I have to take on Sunday for the "cleanse".
On one hand I really hope that they don't find anything (like cancer, or Chrones disease)... but on the other hand I hope they find something that can be easily treated so that I can get better. I am just a nervous wreck! The doctor gave me Zanax to take Monday morning so I don't have a panic attack at the hospital, but that does nothing for me right now...
Hope everyone is doing well, and maybe things will slow down here at work soon so that I can Nest more often
