Re: Deleted
All but 2 of ours went out, but the last 2 we cant figure out who gave us the gift. 1 of them no could make out what the name was and the second we cant figure out which Anna it is... sounds strange but the mother and daughter have the same name. Other than that H and i knocked most of them out with in 2 weeks after the wedding, and i finshed the rest (minus the 2) last week.
Im not a fan of writing them either but i felt bad that he told his grandpa it was in the mail and i didnt even write it till a week and a half later. Just force yourself to do it. with 20 left you can get them done in an hour or less. GL
we finished all but one of ours and sent them all out on the 3rd. Our honeymoon was short and right after the wedding so we had some more time. The one that is stragling is an address that H has to get from his mom because the people leave where they live in the winter and go home. His parents live kind of "up north" in michigan where people often have their summer homes.

December 2010 Siggy Challange 11/15-11/21: engagement ring.
I'm still working on mine and like most of you, H is no help. I just need to make myself sit down and finish them.
I went out with some friends that also recently got married (both in Oct) and they weren't done with their's either so I automatically felt better lol
my read shelf:
We are complete...we had roughly 125 notes to write so H and I agreed to split up based on invite. His family/friends co-workers were written out by him and my side by me. I have a HUGE complex with getting them out as soon as possible so people know I am grateful (I realize this is my issue). I agree within a few months is safe, but I probably wouldn't wait a year. I attended a wedding over Labor Day 2010 and still no thank you. I'm not etiquette police, but I am little miffed about it.
Best of luck to you all in finishing. I think we aimed for 10 notes a day for a few weeks and finally we were done.
Work. In. Progress. I got about half out, maybe a third. I'm feeling blah/lazy. I'll get crackin' this weekend, maybe that's my Friday night.
You just send to people who showed up/gave you a gift right?
Congrats to all you ladies who took care of business.
p.s. I did do my shower thank yous right away!

I sent to people that gave a gift in general (attendees and non-attendees). Also, I have a question...what if you have people that attended, but no gift? Do you send a "Thank you for coming" card?
i didnt. they got free food and invited to a party basically so H and didnt bother. Unless it was a big deal that they came i think yall are ok without sending them one. Or they did something for the wedding, like help decorate.
I was starting to get worried when I only saw responses that said you'd sent them all out!
I was thank-you card woman with my 3 (yes, 3!) showers. I'm talking the next day, literally. But I wanted to make our thank you cards with a picture (or several) on the front. We were 12.18 (weekend before Christmas) and then our photog went out of the country for 2 weeks. 0_o. (she let us know ahead and is including some free prints.)
She emailed Monday that she was back and expects to put the DVD and prints in the mail by Friday. So here's hoping!

?PAL/PGAL Welcome!?
<a href="http://s1136.photobucket.com/albums/n489/jvanier/?action=viewI'm a thank you note spazz so ours were done a week after the wedding, and I mailed them the Monday after we got back from the honeymoon. I had about 100 to do, so I just tried to do like 10 or so a day until they were done. I got a pretty big chunk of them done on the layovers on the flights to/from Nassau, and literally bought the stuff to do them on the honeymoon.
I'm also that girl that finished all of my shower thank you's the night of my shower and mailed them the very next day.

Where we met - Mount Isa
a small mining town in the Australian Outback. Neither of us are from there but we both moved there in the second last year of highschool. He was moved next to me in maths class to stop him talking. It didn't work.
We are mostly finished. I wrote the majority of them, but I am having H write the rest of them. It takes him more time to do it. I think we may have about 10 more to write. We were a 12/18 wedding.
