It's definitely going to be weird to quit work! I already wrote out my letter of resignation and have it saved to my desktop, so when the time comes I can just fill in the date and send it off. So weird! But, as nervous as I am about it... and about not contributing to the household financially, I'm totally and completely excited!! I've wanted to be a SAHM my whole life, so I feel very very fortunate that I'm able to!
I worried quite a bit when I took this new job a bit about the household financially thing and it has worked out well. DH and I are both happy about it and moneywise, well, we live off his cheque for the most part anyway. I took about a 50% paycut.
Also, for a month or two there I wasn't working full time and it was nice. I got so much more done around the house, etc...
It must be super exciting though and you sound totally ready, at least on the SAHM part. I am sure the Mom part is a bit scary.
