Where do you go? Is it a class offered in the gym or do you go somewhere else? Anyone been to ZumbaJear?

Re: J-ville girls and Zumba

  • Zumbajear what what!

That's where Jen and I go and LOVE IT.  Seriously, best instructors ever.  Well, Mon, Wed, and Sat.  We'll be there with Devon all tomorrow morning if you want to join.  :)

  • The class I took was at the JCA, which is where we are members.  What/where is Zumbajear?  (Will Google).

It's just classes, no cardio equipment which is a drawback for some.  But you can pay by class or by month (what I do) and that's where I do body pump twice a week and zumba three to four times a week.

The instructor's name is Jerome and Jen told me a few months ago that he had a huge following at the Y.  So big that they started the studio and it's been pretty successful.  I never imagined I'd pay that much a month to workout, but they make it worth it.  I've been doing it threre since April and still actually look forward to going.

Sorry to gush and excuse the cheese/drama queenishness, but it's honestly been life changing for me.  I learned to like working out there.

Is that your usual schedule of M/W/S? The instructors are awesome!! They use to teach Zumba at the Y of of JTB. The class was in the gym and was always packed.  What time is the class on Saturday? During the week? I would most certainly want to go with you guys. You will really see that I don't have any dancing skills. :)

  • I definitely go every M/W/S unless I'm out of town or have the flu.  M & W zumba is at 6:30 and on Saturdays it's 10:30.  Jen and I are really there all.the.time between zumba and body pump, so if you go any of those days we'll see you there!

It's kind of hard to find the first time.  If you're on Beach going east, it's the second light after you go under 9A.  There's a big sign that says "East Park" or something similar.  Take a right there and then take your first left.  You can do the second or third turn-in once you're on that road.  The second turn-in has a bigger parking lot.  They're the last entrance furthest away from that road in the strip mall looking thing that's to the right of the big parking lot.

This all makes much more sense when you're looking at it...

First RIGHT after turning right @ the light at the East Park sign!
