Disney Recs?

Anyone have any recommendations for Disney World, any super pluses to staying right at Disney v's off the grounds.  We went one time and stayed off site, was just for a few days pre kiddo's. This will be w/ kids and possibly my parents. If you have any recommendations for Condos nearby would also be interested in any reviews. Also looking for nice but reasonable. Tx

Re: Disney Recs?

  • With 4 children we stay offsite b/c I must have a washer/dryer in my unit, a full kitchen and 2 or 3 bedrooms w/ as many baths. :o) I've gone to Disney more times then anyone you probably know! We LOVE Disney!! Each time is just as exciting as the time before. Yes, we are that crazy family! My almost 4 year old is going on her 3rd trip and my 1 year old, this will be her 2nd trip! Yep, Disney Addicts! Our next trip is in 3 months, 3 weeks & 6 days ... ha ha! I've been 7 times since 2004! (I've been there several times b/f that also). We usually stay 7 - 10 days each time.

Our most favorite resorts: (reviews from tripadvisor I did). I have more pic's if you want!

LOVED this one too! This is where we are going in May: (never posted pic's but I have some of the room if you would like)

Windsor Hills: (a million people trying to rent to you but he is my favorite b/c his prices are so good!)

Sorry, I can't seem to do clicky links when I am in FireFox!

I did stay at a Disney Resort when I just had the 2 kids & loved it! It was really nice + I loved the bus transportation to the parks. Like I said above b/c I have so many kids it is just so nice to have the extra amenties!  All of them have a balcony and as stupid as it sounds it was one of my favorite amenties! I loved sitting out there reading a book at night or eating breakfast in the morning! They all have very large balcony's and are screened in! They have a large table and usually 4 chairs. It also haves us a lot of money in the long run. We stock up on drinks, snacks, lunch items and eat there most of the time or a late night dinner after the parks.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Chances are I have the answers! :o) I don't think we are FB friends but if you look me up, I should be on several of the ladies here FB page.  (to locate me!)

  • Thank you for all the info! The Sheraton looks really nice.  I think that Wydham is where we stayed now that you mentioned it. I had won 2 free nights so we really didn't research anything we just went because we already had the 2 nights.  We aren't going until next year, I was just doing some preliminary research and trying to figure out how much to budget for.  I'm sure i'll hit you up for more info as the time passes.. Big Smile
