Have any of you ever done or currently on the weight watchers program? I'm joining tonight after ready many great reviews and just wanted to see if any of you girls have done it and what your experience was and if you had any tips. I will only be doing the online version and I think I will do good with self discipline as I've been tracking my calories with an app on my droid. I've lost about 10 lbs since the end of Thanksgiving but I've plateaued and am just needing a better program to keep the weight loss going.

  • I did it on and off for about a year and two months to get ready for the wedding and after the wedding.  I lost weight when I tracked my weight and I did go to some meetings.  I just sort of loss my motivation and stopped.  How many calories did you allow yourself when you were counting calories? I just recently cancelled WW b.c. I wasn't using it and used that money to sign up for a class at a gym.  They changed the point system on Dec. 1, 2010 and I had started it a few days before 12-1-09. Now fruits don't count as points and they used to count as one or two.  I had a lot of stuff entered online and now they changed how they calculate points so I had to re-enter many of my foods.  I think you will really like it.  My OB told me years ago when I told her I was thinking about losing weight that WW was the best one that works according to research. Good luck and let us know how it goes.   
  • I was allowing myself between 1200-1300 calories. I did pretty good with it but it was really hard to figure out the calorie cosumption sometimes so I would try to figure it out as close as I could. I've been looking around on the WW website a lot today and I love all the recipes they have!
