We had court this morning. Completely uneventful. He got a public defender even though I beeged him to let us pay for an attorney. His court date is 3/15. The PD that he got was actually my step mom's pd back when she assaulted my father so she is pretty familiar with his situation. I hope that helps him. Now I just have to worry for the next month. I also took him to the doctors today. He decided to tell me that he didn't think he should cancel his physical today because he has been having serious pains in his colon area for a few weeks. AWESOME DAD! Way to not say anything sooner! Anyways. Thanks for the T&P. They kept him out of jail for now!

Good lord did his appointment go okay?!?!?! Colon cancer runs rampant on my Dads side of the family, so I always harass the sh!t out of him to make sure he's staying on top of check-ups.

Hopefully that PD helps the situation other situation that you guys are going through. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed on 3/15.

Glad court today was relatively uneventful. I hope your dad's physical goes well and that the colon pain is nothing serious. Are both your dad and SM's names on the house? What's his plan for the time before the next court date? I would hope he would be planning to file for a divorce, because this sounds like a situation he needs to get out of for his health and sanity. Maybe you and he could talk to someone and get some legal advice about what to do about the niece? Good luck with everything and we will continue to send the T&Ps your way.

Thanks ladies. His doctor did an exam and didn't think it was anything. She is sending him for a colonoscopy in the near future. I'm not sure what she thinks it is though. My dad will be staying with me. He seems to go back and forth about what he is going to do. He is going to look for an apt. it's just a matter of when. They actually rent right now. He is worried because the rent is coming do an dthere are no groceries in the house. He is going to pay the rent and it sounds like buy groceries for them because he is worried about the baby. Talking ot him last night, he seems so lonely. He is afraid to get an apt. because he is sad he won't have my neice to come home to. It's really sad. Hearing talk, it sounds like he considers going back for a little while. It's crazy. Then he snaps out of it and says he is going to find a place.

Have you called DSS yet?

I am glad that court went ok so far and especially glad that is dr appointment went well. Stress takes such a toll on your health, sounds like your dad needs to stay away from SM for his own health.
