I just took down our Christmas tree and inside decorations on Wednesday night. I've just been too freakin' busy!
I've also apparently been slacking at laundry because DH told me last night that he was completely out of boxers. I was miffed that he waited until he was totally out to mention that though, haha.
Merin... I think I would have given him a "this is how you use the washing machine" tutorial.
I know this is really not something I should complain about... but DH made a big deal about wanting to take me out to dinner tonight so I got my mom to watch Ella... but he wouldn't tell me all week where we were going. This morning he left me a scavenger hunt of flowers each with a word attached telling me where and when to meet him for dinner... very cute and sweet, except he did the exact same thing for valentines day 2 years ago, and we are going to the exact same place... which happens to be HIS favorite restaurant. I am a little annoyed with where we are going since we just ate there like 3 weeks ago and there are 2 new places in town that I am dying to try.
i can see being annoyed but if it helps, his creativity is light years beyond my DH
I, of course, am very excited to get my super early BFP, but DH....not so much. He did not sound happy at all when I called him to tell him...and that kind of bummed me out. I know with all the stuff he is getting ready to change in his lifestyle and the stuff with Monk its been a little crazy and overwhelming, but he sounded very unhappy and told me "I just thought it would take more time." I just have to roll with it, I know he will come around, but it just kind of put a damper on the whole thing.
I have baby fever.
My friend has been calling/texting me nonstop for days upset about her boyfriend being in basic. I understand it's hard and I'm trying to be supportive...but at some point during the day I need to sleep!
We're moving, I turned in our 30 day notice on 1/19. The only people in the office were the manager and the maintance man. I waited to have her read it because I've never written my own notice before and wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything. It mentioned in there pro-rating our rent for Feb. She said it was fine and thank you. When I went to pay rent today, the lady taking my rent said I had to pay the full month. I figured the manager didn't turn in the notice (she also forgot to turn in the notice for our discount for refering our friends in July). She called the manager and the manager said that in our lease it says we have to pay the rest of the month, they don't pro-rate for the last month. I need to find our lease and double check that and if it's in there, then I fine, I signed it, I have to stick to it. What makes me mad is that #1 She claimed when I turned in the notice, I dropped it off and walked out without letting her say anything. #2 You've had 9 days, my phone number was on the notice and is on our lease, you couldn't have called me to let me know this? Frustrated...but if I signed that then there's nothing I can do and there's nothing they can do to stop me from leaving on 2/20.
