Egypt
Has anyone else been watching all the chaos in Egypt unfold over the past few days? I have been watching closely because my entire fathers side of the family lives in Egypt. So incredibly stressed and uneasy over the whole situation. They were posting videos of the crazy protests on facebook before the internet got shut off, and now there is a big lack of communication. Worried for the safety of my family/country/and americans trapped, and ready to see a new and fair government for them. Although a new government and democracy for the people and for my family seems good, it really worries me and has me concerned over war and peace with Israel.
Anyone have any thoughts on the situation?

I've been watching the coverage and reading about what's going on.
Unfortunately, I don't know enough to opine on what's best at this point. It's definitely a scary situation for everyone, that's for sure.
ETA: Hope all your family and friends are safe and stay that way.
I'm with Madisen. I don't know enough to have an informed opinion, but I hope that things are resolved for the better (whatever that may be) soon and that your family and friends stay safe.
That must be scary for you to not know what's going on with loved ones over there. I hope everyone stays safe.
No opinions on Egypt since I'm sadly uninformed.
My FIL was supposed to go over there for a work trip in a couple weeks, needless to say, that got cancelled.
