Re: PG Check In!

  • Doing good here, had our 36 week appointment that I made DH go to. It went really good. Next appointment is Thursday and I am doing the Strep B test that day. Nice thing is I get to do it myself:) The carseat, Mamaroo, cloth diapers and a few extra things are on the way via snail mail. I can't wait to get it all! Now its just the wait. Which I really don't mind.

  • 7 weeks today and so far so good.  Just very tired all the freaking time.  It seems to get worse each day.

I finally see my new primary doctor on Wednesday so I will finally get a referral to an ob/gyn.  I have a feeling it may be another couple weeks to get in with the ob/gyn but I'll be happy to just have an appointment at this point.

  • I'm feeling way better these days. No more excuses not to work out. I'm getting huge from not working out and eating like a pig.

  • Dani I can't believe you're 14 weeks already! Whoo second trimester!!

I'm doing good, gettting bigger, but I still dont feel huge. Just a little off balanced. I finally feel like I'm back to my normal energy level, and have started reading baby books, what to expect, etc. Our registries are pretty much done, just have to tweak a couple of things. And my friend is throwing my a baby shower the end of March, so we've started discussing that. Which is exciting, and terrifying. I can't believe I'm almost 6 months!! I'm signed up for classes through the birthing center we'll deliver at, and those start in March. So right now I'm pretty much waiting to get through February, and then everything should speed up --again, exciting and terrifying!

  • Not many changes here, and really I always just whine here so I will refrain from that. LOL

We did go out to look at more furniture for the nursery this weekend and we went to Motherhood Maternity too but I went off on dh when he walked out of the store to wait for me and I wanted him to stay in and I didn't end up buying anything. My emotions are really all over the place lately.

I also bought the Baby Bargains book and am glad I did.

I can't believe it either. Some days I feel like time is flying and other days I feel like July/Aug (I think I'll go in Aug) are eons away.

    eeeeeeeeeeeee!  you are so close!

  • Isn't time just flying by???  I am 30 weeks today, for some reason I feel like 30 weeks is a huge milestone.  Like I can breathe a little easier.  Figuratively, since I've been out of breath for about 8 weeks now.  :)  I am now feeling HUGE and can't believe I still have 10 weeks left, how is it possible to get even bigger?  Yikes!

Blair finished the molding in the nursery yesterday, so it is pretty much all set up!  Now I just need to hang artwork and shelves.

We still don't have a name yet, but our top pick so far is Owen.  It's the only one we both had on our top 10 lists, we have very different tastes in names!!!

  • Lissy, the G man is so cute!!!  How does it feel to be a mom?  Any words of advice for us?  :)
  • I'm doing well, 19.5 weeks already.  We have our anatomy scan on the 7th but we are team green, so hopefully I'll just be sharing that everything went well.

I found a used baby jogger city elite with a bunch of accessories for a steal and we plan on registering within the next couple weeks (also bought baby bargains - love it).  My showers are scheduled for April 16 and 17 (in Michigan).  I feel like time is flying by and I don't have a clue what I need to do.

I'm starting to show (barely) and if I wasn't slammed at work, I'd go to the gym.

oh, I also got a necklace to remind me of the good news we got a few weeks ago, I'll pip it later.
