Re: moms and moms to be

  • we are getting the basic snap n go frame for our graco carseat, along with a BOB jogging stroller (thanks mom and dad!),  Later on we'll probably pick up an umbrella stroller.

  • We have two, and I still use them all the time. My first one is a Graco metro lite travel system and then I have an umbrella stroller as well. I love the Graco because I have used it for 14 months and its still in great condition. I can lay it flat so Xander can nap in it when we are out for the day. It's light and easy to get in and out of the car.

  • We're getting the baby jogger city mini. Everyone I've met who has one, loves them. The super easy fold, and compact size were the seller for us. We love museums, so we needed something small and easy to push with one hand. And the fact that I can hold LO in one arm, while using the other to fold and put away the stroller was a HUGE selling factor, since we have an SUV and trucks. It's also still small enough to fit into our parents compacts, no problem.
    My overly happy baby girl!

  • I have the same Graco system that Dana has and we have a jogging stroller.
  • We had a snap n go and loved it. Then traded it at BRU for a chicco when he turned 6 mo. Then we also got an umbrella stroller for small trips.

  • We have a Graco travel system.  It works fine, but Riley isn't a huge fan of strollers in general.  I kind of wish I'd researched parent-facing strollers more because that's what we had with my brother growing up and I assumed they all had that option!

I do plan on getting a CIty Mini this spring - she's finally old enough to go jogging!

  • i have a snap & go (which is a must have in my house). it's super easy when you are running in and out of stores and it's also helpful when your kid refuses to nap anywhere else but the stroller and you have to push it around the house :P  it's also nice and small to bring into restaurants. we've been bringing her out to eat from the start and it's so helpful.

i also have a bumbleride which is our 'good' stroller. it's also compatible with the carseat but the snap & go is just smaller which is great while she's still small.  we mostly use this right now for walks, street fairs, etc...

we have a maclaren umbrella stroller for quick in & out trips when she's older.

i love them all and wouldn't give any of them up!

  • Chicco cortina (compatible with the Chicco Key Fit) though I havent used it with DS yet.  I have used it with my friend's 6mo old when we were baby sitting one evening and went for a walk.  its a good stroller.  I like it!
  • Used a Snap N Go until about 6 months, then got a BOB jogging stroller. We don't use it that much, though -- now that he can sit up on his own we put him in the seat in the cart or we carry him in the Ergo. It'll probably get more use when he outgrows the Ergo.
  • We use the graco spree travel system and love it.
