i remember discussing mac and cheese options awhile back and thought i'd come to comment on this one. so i had a $1 off coupon for this and it was on sale at the store (so i ended up gettin it for $1.50 i think...normal price i'm not sure but they were 2 for $5 on sale).
so, basically it's made really similarly to regular homemade mac n cheese. it comes with noddles which you boil and then drain. then, in the pot you put some butter and a 'seasoning packet' that i'm pretty sure has flour and other stuff. you mix that in while the butter melts, add 1/2 cup milk and cook until it thickens, which happens really quickly. then, you add the cheese sauce which is similar to what comes in velveeta mac and cheese. stir, add noodles, and then bake topped with bread crumb mix that comes with and an optional 1/2 cup shredded cheddar.
this was REALLY good. i wasn't expecting much...i figured it would be regular kraft mac and cheese with breadcrumbs on top. not so...it was SUPER good. i'd buy it again...but only on sale bc it's def more expensive than regular kraft. ![]()
