best and worst parts of your weekend!

Best - getting out and enjoying the nice weather and seeing a good friend at the restaurant he works at, finally going through the bags of clothing I have to donate to Goodwill (~60 shirts, ~30 pants)
Worst - DH being in a crappy mood for no reason at all - even he admitted it.
best - spending time with dh was really nice, 2 trips to the doggie park
worst - didn't really have one. we did see black swan - and walked out of the movie totally confused...
Best: Getting sooooo much done on Saturday. My car is washed for the first time in months (I care more about the interior than the exterior).
Worst: Not being able to ride as much as I'd like because of my minor surgery on Friday and missing out on the nice weather.

Best - Finally getting the bath fan replaced (it was so steamy!) Yummy Williamson Bro's BBQ
Worst - Not being able to spend much time with DH in the wonderful weather. Splashing a bunch of baked chicken juice in the oven I need to clean up today.
Best - gorgeous weather, 2 fun dinners out with DH, getting a lot done that I needed to do.
Worst - spending all weekend hoping and praying for a dog adopted out by my rescue group. She was mauled by 2 loose pitbulls while jogging with her owner on a public trail. They dragged her into a ravine and kept attacking until the police got there, shot, and killed them. She was fighting for her life all weekend and I found out this morning she died. I am sick over this senseless tragedy. The pits' owners will be sued by the family, and I hope they get taken for everything they are worth (although I suspect that isn't much).
Best: The weather! And two great dinners this weekend. Friday night with a great friend who was in town (yes, we still ended up at Taco Mac which was fine). And dinner at Soho in Vinings with DH, DD, and SIL on Saturday night. I had never been, and it was quite yummy.
Worst: Playing crappy tennis on Saturday, but the weather and a team win made up for it!
Best: Finally having a chance to have our kitchen designed.
Worst: Finding out the cabinets are going to cost us WAY more than we thought.....oh well I guess.....easy come easy go.
best: spending saturday with 2 of my best friends, shopping a little and sitting on a covered patio drinking beer and margaritas
worst: getting sick at dinner...i think i might be allergic to some kind of seafood or something, i got sick last time we ate at oceanaire, but i thought it was the shots of grand marnier we had...but this time i had only had 2 drinks with dinner, and it hit me so fast...

best - the weather. My car was cleaned on Sat. All shiny and purdy. Managed to get out the invite for the bridal shower I'm co-hosting.
worst - couldn't rent a place since we got so busy on Saturday and then Sunday we went to the leasing office and it was closed for construction.
I'll need to call today to see if I can nail a place down.

Best: the weather, a spa pedicure on Saturday, rearranging our bedroom furniture and discovering so much more space in our room, DH and I talking about and deciding on a TTC date
Worst: the rain this morning! I know the weekend is over, but it was pretty good all around so I didn't want to complain!

Jules, we love Soho! Did you find it to be kid friendly? We've only gone later in the evening so we haven't brought Harlie.
Best: Weather and my cousin visiting from NY (who loved the weather even more than us and sat out on my back deck with sunscreen) and watching Harlie gobble up butternut squash for the first time.
Worst: Making a mess in the kitchen when I made pea puree for Harlie. It looked like Kermit exploded in the kitchen!
best: enjoying the weather with dh; girl talk and margaritas with a friend on friday night
worst: feeling "off" all weekend. i was tired and irritable
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
We had an early-ish reservation (6:30pm), and they had high chair for Azlyn. It was nice too because we were kind of tucked away, so if Azlyn did actually act up, we would have only bothered one table. She was good though. We had food for her to keep her occupied. I find that even for the nicer restaurants (like Soho) if the volume level in the restaurant is loud, it's nice because if there is any fussiness, no one is even going to notice.
Yep! Even at places that aren't necessarily "nicer"--Harlie was shrieking at Zucca last weekend (because she was happy) and no one could hear it over the other noise. We have to have her home by 7pm at the latest, though, because she starts getting overtired.
