Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
cross your fingers or do a little dance for me, please
I will be up for staffing in March. My supervisor and boss both agree that I should lead a new long-term project for my next assignment. The problem is, most of our work is done at the request of congressional committees and requests are slow to come in at the beginning of a new congressional session. They've told me they are trying to drum up more work for me and a few others who usually lead projects but don't have one lined up yet. For this to work out, the request needs to come in over the next couple of weeks and people with more seniority also need requests so that there are enough projects for all of us. So, please cross your fingers or do a little dance that they come up with something!
