No idea how I got a staph infection... This whole thing is so weird. The only thing I can think of is that I may have cut my finger somewhat while trimming my nail, and then got something nasty in it while hiking with the dog that weekend... I got all kinds of dirt on my hands on that outing. But who knows.
I don't know if my cold is related - I'm guessing it's not. DH and a bunch of people at work have been sick so I think it's unrelated, though poor timing for sure.
