Need help with a gift for my sister
As I've mentioned before, my sister is getting married on June 11. I want to get her/them a really meaningful gift they can keep to remind them of their wedding day but I can't really think of anything. Did any of you get anything really special as a wedding gift, that was unique and not just something off your registry? Here are some facts about them that may/may not help:
- They are both 25
- They live in an apartment but will one day buy a house
- They are both teachers
- She is very theatrical
- He is very sportsy

Could you make a shadow box of special wedding details? I love mine - it has our invite, program, a couple pics, one of our favors and something else.
Or maybe you could have her bouquet preserved into artwork like I think Dani had (hope that's not what you're talking about Dani)?
Actually no, that wasn't what I was thinking but that is a great idea.

What do you mean what happened? Did it get lost? You might have already told me this but clearly I forgot.
It just got lost after the wedding. I know I walked into the reception with it and I thought it was put on our sweetheart table but it wasn't there when I went to get it at the end of the night. For a couple months I thought it had been taken by someone in the family to make something with it (like a shadow box or something) but nope, after Christmas I gave up hope that anyone was surprising me with it - lol.

What I might do is give her something cool at each of her showers.
This, though we got them for ourselves as a cake topper. Otherwiser honestly there is so much off of my registry that I love (pots and pans being one) and think of the people that got them for me a lot of the time when I am using them.
