DE - No precipitation at the moment, but there was a "wintry mix" falling all through the night and into the early morning. Everything is iced over. Most schools initially called for a 2-hour delay but ended up closing entirely, including mine. I didn't find out until after I had showered and was ready to go, of course. We're supposed to get freezing rain tonight.

OH- we got 6 inches of snow, all the schools around here are cancelled. Starting late afternoon/this evening we are going to get ice, about an inch they are predicting and then it will change back to snow tomorrow.

Oklahoma- We got sleet for a few hours last night and now it is snow snow snow. They think we are going to break records with about 20 inches. Pretty much everything is shut down.

I'm in IL. We got 3-4 inches of snow yesterday, it's supposed to ice really bad this afternoon, then crazy blowing snow this evening into tomorrow. They're predicting 20 inches of snow here. And both DH and I have to work today. I hate Illinois. I'm thinking we may get the day off tomorrow though...

MN - Sunny but it snowed all day yesterday. It was about 10 when I was in the car this morning but I think they said the wind chill was below 0. Everything is slowed down but nothing is shut down.

KY - we're just going to get rain out of all of this supposedly... its supposed to be 50 here by midnight. I guess there is a chance of snow in the morning but its supposed to be less than an inch of accumulation so its pretty much all going to miss us this time. I kinda wanted a snow day. Tongue Tied

NH - Welp, the snow wasn't supposed to start until later today but it is already coming down hard. We probably have about 3" at least and this is just round one. Totals are going to be around 18-24" between now and Thursday am. Today is my contract day so I just saw 1 out of 2 kids and then came home as the roads got nasty quick...in front of the computer writing reports all day. Tomorrow is full time job day but I just found out they actually closed!! I'm so glad I won't have to take a PTO day even though I'll be working (at home) anyways.

NC - It was beautiful and sunny on Sunday w/ a high of 65. Yesterday was in the 40s and cloudy and today it's in the 50s and cloudy. Tomorrow its supposed to be sunny and 71, but it will be back to the 40s and cloudy on Thursday. My sinuses are killing me due to the wide temp shifts.

WA - Sunny and about 45 today. It's a nice break from the rain we've been having, but I'll take the rain any day over the snow. I really hate the snow (unless it's in the mountains and I choose to drive to it). My drive to work this morning was so pretty I actually stopped and took a picture. This is what I saw in my rear view mirror. It is Mt. Rainier with the sun rising behind it.

NY ? we got some snow this morning, we have probably 6 inches on the ground. Things are pretty calm now, but we're expecting at least another foot between now and tomorrow night. I am working from home tomorrow to avoid a likely 2 hour commute each way. Even better would be a snow day, so I don't have to work!

Oh I wanna play!

South Dakota. Currently we're in a wind chill warning until tomorrow. Current temp 2?F with a feels like temperature of -19?F. Plus 20mph winds that are FREEZING cold.

After being stranded in a different town last night, I came back to my truck and noticed snow all around it. Luckily I have 4 wheel drive but my fellow commuters have 2 wheel drive cars... so we dug and pushed the cars out while I took my truck through the snow to lead the way.

All the roads are icy too, even the interstate is slick.

To sum it up: BRR!!

Central Texas--cold, with a side of windy. It's currently 28 with a low of 19 tonight, and mostly the same the next couple days. Just a couple hours north of us, though, it's sleeting, icing and snowing. To think, it was just 80 degrees Sunday!
