As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

After I read your facebook comment, I am hoping I didn't offend you. By no means is my status meant for state workers more for the legislators that were voted to get things done and are spending time on bills that don't really matter. I feel for state workers. They get the low end of the stick along with Educators. The people in the outside think we get handed everything and have a job that does nothing. Not sure if your status was directed at mine, but if it was I am sorry you were offended but it def. was not directed towards state workers!?

Oh no, it isn't you! It is the people that comment on news articles and say that state employees do nothing and that our jobs should be cut. You can cut our jobs but we will be collecting unemployment! We are people too...we need jobs and health care just like everyone else. And we work damn hard too.
And I appreciated your comment about people feeling the same way about teachers. I used to work for a nonprofit that provided PD to science teachers. I know how hard teachers work.
