Disgruntledness
Here Shaina, you can post it here. I'll go first.
I'm disgruntled about the bridesmaid requirements of two weddings I'm in this year. I don't like the dresses (one wasn't cheap at all). I'm annoyed by the shoes (also not cheap). I don't like that it has to be altered to a specific point at my knee. I'm annoyed by other BMs not wanting to pitch in for the shower or bachelorette.
I was really fine (because I know I signed up for it all) until I was given the option to vote for a shoe and they were all NMS and then told exactly where to hem the dress. For some reason that's pushed me over the edge. If that's the only alteration I need I'm going to be pissed.
And what's funnier is that we were told of the selected shoe and that it came down to two shoes and that each one had 5 votes. Um, there's not 10 people voting so how are there 5 for each shoe?
I realize I'm being silly and I know I signed up for all this when I agreed to be a BM.

I feel you though, that was my problem in both weddings I was in last summer. In the end, you could tell that the BMs weren't cohesive and in the case of the 2nd wedding it was a disaster and even family members were upset with the way the bride ran things.
I thankfully have never been in a wedding where I had to buy a specific shoe.
ETA: I do have something!
My SIL has invited the whole freaking county it seems on this family cruise. It is making me dread it even more. Further instead of her telling me the moved my niece to another, I got to find out when the cruise line refunded me her excursion money. So I asked SIL weeks ago to give me the new booking number and she hasn't yet. I guess I need to call the TA and get the new number so my niece can go on the excursion.
I hope DH and I survive this week, he already knows I'm not putting up with all this ILshit and further, we don't like SIL's parents, who are also going. Thank god my parents are going to help even things out and we at least like them and travel well together.

Haha! I keep waiting and nothing. My boobs were totally swollen for the first 11 weeks or so but they're back to normal now. They don't hurt. They're soft and still small

Don't get her hopes up Jess! My situation is the opposite. I never changed cup size, just went up a notch in the band. Then once milk came in I was only big when I was super full and now that I'm just about done nursing I think I'm smaller than I was to begin with. It's slightly depressing but at least I'll get new bras.

I'm ROFLing at 3 heads!!! HAHAHAHA!. Maybe I should have taken note of my grandma - she's flat as a board after all her kids (7) but was like a D when she started out. My mom however, was more like you guys.

This just tacks on to my IL cruise of doom fun, I asked my SIL on the 18th of Jan for my niece's new booking number b/c they didn't bother to tell me she switched rooms so the cruise company just canceled her excursion and refunded my money. She said she would let me know the next day.
This weekend when paying bills I realized, OMG I need to rebook niece on excursion. Email TA, get booking number, but need date of birth too. Just BBM'd SIL, hopefully she'll at least have that info.
I cannot imaging taking 5 kids on a cruise and not having booking numbers and other docs organized?
