What is your milk and bread?
I know people are going nutso buying out all of the milk and bread at the stores. We already did our grocery shopping over the weekend, so we didn't need anything, but we still ran to the store to get my guilty pleasure: regular (not diet) Coke which we don't normally keep in the house. So is anyone else picking up anything (besides bread and milk) to get through what may be a few days stuck at home?
Re: What is your milk and bread?
We bought 4 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of prosecco, and three 12-packs of beer last night.
(We live in a dry town, so we stock up when we get the chance. But we probably only would have bought 2 bottles of wine and one or two 12-packs were we not expecting the snowstorm from hades.)

Getting fit for IVF!
Keith is a prepper, so we definitely could have survived without going to the store, but we went ahead and went last night anyway. Yesterday was payday, so we were a little low on a couple of things.
Here's a list of things that were totally sold out at a very large new well-stocked grocery store:
2 liters of Dr. Pepper
white onions
russett potatoes
canned chilli beans
boneless skinless chicken
We got butter, eggs, milk, hamburger meat, apples, diet coke, tea, iced oatmeal cookies, elbow macaronni, spray de-icer, capri sun, and bacon. So, basically, a bunch of stuff we didn't HAVE to have, but wanted. lol We had butter, but I knew Keith was wanting to make some banana bread and that would make us run a little low. We had eggs, but I knew we'd be eating breakfast at home for the next few days and again, that would put us low. We had milk, but only whole and I wanted some 2%. We were out of un-frozen hamburger meat and I did want to get some chicken. And we were out of elbow macaroni, even though we have just about every other shape of pasta imaginable. The diet coke, tea, cookies, capri sun, and bacon were all just for fun. lol
Missing our little turkey.

We shopped this weekend, which led to my decision of cleansing because I cannot keep being such a fatas$ or I may actually become a huge, giant fatty! Because we heard snow was coming possiblly 3 times this week.......
We got; diet cherry pepsi, diet lime pepsi, milk and iced tea. Food; doritos, tostitos and salsa and sour cream and shredded cheese and cheese whiz and guac sauce, pretzels, peanut m&ms, ruffles chips and french onion dip, chicken, pork chops, beef, noodles, 3 diff kinds of bread, bagels...
It's seriously a wonder how Mike and I aren't obese. We should be.
What town is still dry?
Me too!!!!
Belmont. It's not dry, technically, but there are only a handful of liquor licenses. And the wine shop near us has a kajillion percent markup, so we stocked up the next town over. (I went with the short-hand originally.)
Sooo I've been out of these weather conversations...
It's 58 degrees here right now, and tonight it's supposed to be 33 degrees.
I feel like a p*ssy complaining......
....but I'm pretty darn cold right now lol.

And we just got milk at Costco today
