Daytona Beach....

Has anyone visited DB recently? We have not been in years and are thinking of taking a mini vaca there. Are there any must see/do's? We will have DD so we can't do any night life. :( We will be staying right on the beach but I'm at a loss of what we should do besides hang out at the beach.

Re: Daytona Beach....

  • Are you set on Daytona?  I would much rather vacation in St. Augustine.  But then again, I don't have a favorable opinion of Daytona.  Or what about New Smyrna?  New Smyrna seems less trashy (for lack of a better word) to me and more of a family kinda place.

  • Yes, we are meeting some friends and they want to stay in Daytona. The only good thing is the hotel we are staying at is not on the "driving" part of the beach but still really close to the pier. The other thing we have not figured out is if they are going to come in March or June, but, they are leaning toward March.

Be sure it's not during Spring Break!
