Re: QOTD

  • I did.  I was in Winter Track for 2 years, did Spring Track for 3 years, SADD (students against drunk driving) 1 year, and yearbook 1 year.  Ok, now this just made me realize that my 20th school reunion is this year. Embarrassed Now I feel really old.

  • Keep in mind we had grade 13 when I was in highschool so I account for 5 years.

    Cross Country - 5 years

    Track - 5 years

School Play - grade 9 only

SAVE - Students Against Violating the Environment - 5 years

SADD - Students Against Drunk Driving - 5 years

    I think that's it.

  • H/S?  Not much.  I was in the liturgical choir, but that's about it.

University was a horse of a different colour, as I got really involved with the student society.  I held a few different directorships (directors organize a specific event/take care of a certain task) over a few years and was then elected VP-Internal, so I was in charge of all the directors that handled events within the university.

  • No sports, though I wish I'd done cross country. The only club I did in HS was National Honor Society, which mostly consisted of monthly and committee meetings (I was on scholarship, so I got to check everyone's GPAs for eligibility), and "volunteer" work to earn points (which meant working for four hours folding clothes at the local department store every month).

  • No sports. I love sports but am not athletic. I was in Key Club which was a voluteer/community involvement organization. It seems like I was involved in some other clubs as well, but they are currently escaping my mind.
  • I was the founder and captain of the girl's golf team, and I did track for 2 years and cross country for 1.  I also did orchestra, pep band, pit orchestra for the plays -- my violin playing was less than stellar, but I did it for 13 years.  MO, what instrument did you play?

  • No sports unless you count marching band.  I was in the JCL (Latin club) for one year, Anchor Club, Beta Club (honor society) and on the literary magazine staff.  In college, I was in Women's Glee.

  • I did.

I swam competitively - backstroke; played football (soccer) - right side strike and ran track - 110 hurdles, 100 sprint, 200 sprint. And on occasion I played volleyball, I could serve like a champ.

    ... Now I'm basically a sloth.

  • Ummm....well I was on the track team in high school. I was also the assistant manager to a few major school plays (out High School was very well known for our musicals) and participated back stage with all our High School plays. I was also part of the team that put planned and put together all the props and sets for the stage.

I also played softball, but never for the school, I had been playing comp league since I was 7.

  • I was in choir, model UN, newspaper and yearbook.

My school didn't have a swim team but I swam competitively in a club outside of school. Wish I would've joined more sports though, but I was (and still am) pretty shy about my limited athleticism.
