The news hyped up this storm BIG TIME! Anddddd it was a dud! All of the schools closed though (many announced they would be closed last night) So now I am enjoying a snow day! I should do my grad work...but that is no fun! I have class tonight...I wish I had a snow day for that!
What is everyone else up to this groundhogs day? By the way he didn't see his shadow so that means an early spring! I love how we judge the weather by groundhogs...maybe they should start relying more on animals to predict these "massive" storms!
Re: Snow day!
Snow day here, too, but definitely not a dud. It's been snowing like crazy since about dawn today and we're supposed to get 12-16 inches. I don't care what the groundhog days, there is no such thing as an early winter in Maine. We're going to be snowed in until about June.
That said, I am more than happy to stay home and get some knitting done. I'm working on a baby afghan for a friend who's expecting a little girl this spring (IF it's spring by then). Very excited.
