Thank you notes

Have you written them yet? Have you even thought about them yet? All of my gifts are in storage and my list of who gave what along with them, so I have been procrastinating. It's only been about 5 or 6 weeks but I'm starting to feel slightly guilty....

I'm finished with mine. Would it be hard to get your list out of storage? You should get them written soon! Otherwise you might have people start inquiring as to whether you got their gift :P

I got mine out the week after the wedding because I was worried about it (that's just my personality though). I was searching like mad last night though when I figured out that I couldn't find a card my grandparents sent us. I still haven't found it nor the giftcard that it had it in. I know it has to be somewhere in the house and probably just walked away for a mini vacation in some dark crevice of a closet or drawer...

I got out half of mine right after we got back from the honeymoon (we didn't even have time to open a single card before we left because we left the next morning at 6am). We then took a trip to see the Holy Land 2 weeks later (the honeymoon was to Mexico, but we had an opportunity to tour the Holy Land with a group that we love so we took it) and now the rest of the cards are sitting there waiting to be written. I've been sick, and now we're in the middle of the blizzard, so I'm aiming to have them done by the end of next week. I feel bad that half of our guests haven't heard from us yet though.

I guess it won't be too hard to get them out of storage. I will probably have to buy new thank you cards, as I have NO idea where they are. Having moved so quickly scrambled everything! I just bought basic ones from Target that were in our color scheme. I guess I'll try to work on them ASAP though.

We started working on them tonight.

I don't know why, but for some reason it seems like such a daunting task. We had way more to send out after the showers.

I really wanted to make our thank you cards with a picture/s on it. We just got them on Tuesday, so I'll be trying to choose the shots and get those ordered this weekend!

It killed me to not have them out yet; we ended up having 3 showers (work, my cousins and my BMs) and I got those TYs out the next day each time.

I did manage to get the TYs out for my first shower quickly, but my second shower was two days before the wedding and there just wasn't time. I'm so bored at home all day, I really should get off my arse and write some TYs...

I got my shower TY's done within the week after it. I wanted to make sure that was done and outta the way before the wedding. The TY's after the wedding took us about two weeks to actually get done. I had a good list, but just really had to focus on doing them. DH helped with some of it though so that made it go quicker.

I say get em done and over with so you don't hafta worry about them anymore, or worse.... forgetting all together. lol.
