I haven't done anything to my hair in years and the last place I went to was Fantastic Sams. My color and cut was okay. I live in Savage, but I'm willing to travel within the metro. Where do you go? Price range?

Not sure where you're located, but I go to Christopher J. Salon in Plymouth and see Kate Lynn. I've been going to her for almost 4 years and have followed her from another salon. She's $40 for a hair cut and has done a lot of professional training as a colorist. Not sure how much that costs, though as I don't dye my hair.

I go to Cole's Salon in Eagan - at Eagan Station. I see Katrina, she's fantastic! In the respect of full disclosure, she is a former knottie/nestie, but I would rave about her even if I didn't know her from this online community. If my post is out of line, someone please tell me and I will edit/remove it.

I go here too and see Annie or Danielle. It's quite a drive for me but I'm loyal to them!

I think it would be crazy if you need to remove those posts. People pimp there photographers all the time, thus is no different.

I go to Max Salon and Spa in Bloomington. I love it. I go to Valerie, who is absolutely amazing. It costs a small fortune though - $58 before tip. I have to stretch my haircuts as long as I can. I just love her though. I tried once to do a cut with her, then trim up somewhere cheap, and then go back to her, but it didn't work. The cheap place just fvcked it up. I've never been as happy with a haircut as I am when I see her. My way of rationalizing it is that my monthly hair dye (yes, monthly. I'm not even 25 yet and if I let my hair go I'm pretty sure I'd have a full on Stacy London style streak!) I do myself with the stuff at Sally Beauty for <$5, so I can splurge there Stick out tongue
