I'm just a little excited. I haven't been on a vacation-vacation (I'm not counting NYC for my friend's wedding - that's was so short!) since our honeymoon in March 2009! Woot!

I busted so much asss to wrap up everything at work and get out there... that I forgot my packing list is saved on my work comp and I didn't email it to myself. Sonofabitch.
Nah, I'm basically packed. I just threw a bunch of sh!t in my suitcase. lol
Will you do me a favor though? If you have a good, fluffy book lying around, will you throw it in your carryon? I completely forgot to go to the library and I have nothing to read. I'm going to try and raid my mom's library tonight, but she doesn't have the fluff I like.
If you want to stop by my house to pick up a few books, Dh is home.
I might take you up on that actually. If I do, will you come up with a reading list for me? You make good recommendations.
Yes, some good ones are altogether in a box even. (DH made me start putting my books in "storage" so they wouldn't be lying around the house.)
Two of the Wind Dancer trilogy books are there (love those) and there are some Julia Quinn books that I like too. And a couple Lisa Kleypas books that were fun.
ETA: There's also a Steve Berry book (Romanov Phrophecy) in the box that I really enjoyed.
Awesome! If we can get out of here a few minutes early, I really will stop by if you're sure you (and H) don't mind. It would be around 4:30.
He already has a heads up and the box is by the front door just in case.
He's home with James because he accidentally washed James' clothes in Tide las Sunday instead of All free and clear. James had an allergic reaction and has a bad rash all over his body now. =( Not contagious...doctor saw him yesterday.
I saw that. Poor guy. (Poor James, not poor H.)
ETA: Did they tell you when to expect the rash to go away? Since last Sunday is a long time!
No, but here's how the timeline goes - Clothes washed Sunday, wore them Monday, rash started to appear Monday night/Tuesday morning. I actually had a similar issue back in August or so due to a change in laundry softener and it took at least a few days for mine to get better from when I noticed it and even more time for it to go away completely.
