NER: Good Electric Toothbrush?
DH has gum receding issues on a few of his teeth and while his dental hygiene is great - its important that he clean these awkward areas of these "special" teeth so that their gum's stay healthy and come back some. This is basically physically impossible to do well with a normal brush or cheapo electric brush.
So, can anyone recommend a non-horribly expensive electric toothbrush? Preferably one with a small, round head (unless they all have one)?

i have the same problem. my dentist told me to buy a Sonicare, said they're the best. they're also the most expensive. needless to say, i'm still using my crusty old Oral B. but i'm cheap like that, so go figure.
i have heard tho, people who have them, absolutely love them and say they will never go back to old school brushes.
Sonicare is awesome! I know they're spendy, but definitely worth it!

True! We stretch ours by running the heads thru the dishwasher.

I love mine and I had to get it because I have many of the same issues your H has.
I actually got mine pretty cheap at Target--they have decent sales on them every once in a while.
But I'm glad to hear about the replacement heads at BBB. I just got my Sonicare about 2 months ago and I was dreading the replacement head issue...

It saves my bad teeth from becoming worse than bad and it's possible to achieve that smooth, professionally-cleaned feeling.
Ditto the comments about getting the basic model. The second one I got was one "level" above basic but it wasn't worth extra money. The timer is silly. I would check out amazon.com and wholesale clubs for the brush and heads (BJ's has a good price). Sometimes I see coupons from my health insurance co. or dentist, too.
