anyone ever been to a urologist?
this is getting so bad. ever since having cassidy my bladder control is shot. sorry for the tmi, but i don't know who else to ask. it's with every cough and sneeze and forget about exercising. my midwife told me it would get better once i stopped bf'ing, but no such luck. it's not only annoying, but uncomfortable and embarrassing. and now being pregnant, it's even worse. i would like to see a specialist, get checked out, and see my options. looking online it seems as though cass may have done some damage. thanks!
Re: anyone ever been to a urologist?
Oh honey I am your resource for this!! This is what we moved here for Matt to do. He doesn't still (he missed delivering babies) but I can tell you lots about it. You want to see a urogynecologist. There is really only one great practice in RI, they are right near W&I. My top doc recommendations are Charlie Rardin and Deb Myers both great people and great doctors. Here is their website: http://www.womenandinfants.org/body.cfm?id=489
Cass probably definitely did damage! Most women can relate after giving birth, it's just not something we ever EVER discuss, kwim? Definitely make an appointment to get in and see them. Kyle Wohlrab is also good, and in that practice depending on what Charlie and Deb's caseloads are like.
