Does anyone here have Aflac insurance experience?
Is this a good job or a very sales based job?

Re: Does anyone here have Aflac insurance experience?
They were one of at least 5 different insurance companies that bugged me nonstop every time I updated my resume on monster and careerbuilder. I have never had any desire for a sales job.
I went to a group "info session" a few years ago. They made it sound like, if you were a good salesperson, that it could be very lucrative.
However, there was an initial "investment" in training classes (which AFLAC would not pay for), then the insurance sales test, and then the sales license. All in all, it would've cost me $500 to start working for them.
I think this is how it is for probably all of these type of companies.
Don't do it! I almost went down that path and learned very quickly that it was a big mistake. Read the reviews and stories on the glass door website.
