Beware of Bath Salts

Apparently if you use them you're risking cocaine and LSD exposure.

Re: Beware of Bath Salts

  • yeah, it's not like bath salts you buy at Bath and Body or anything, it's rock crystals sold on the internet under the guise of being bath salts, but are produced for the sole purpose of being a synthetic (and therefore untestable) version of drugs.

They suck, and are making my life hell.  Just when we started to get a grip on this "black mamba" which is an artificial version of marijuana....

Just don't buy anything called bath salts on the internet.  Stick to actual spa places...

That is horrible.  They said you can get them some places here at least.

yeah, some of the head shops have them now.  But it's not like people are smoking "regular" bath salts.  The spa I go to sent something out saying that theit bath salts are all natural, etc.  People (not saying you, we're just running into it a lot) are getting confused, thinking that people are mis-using real bath salts, which is not the case.  "bath salts" is slang for this new synthetic substance.  Just like "speed" or "crank" or whatever.

It's the same with the Mamba - this stuff is sold as "insense" and "bath salts" so that the FDA can't get involved.  Doesn't matter that it's labeled "not for human consumption," because people are consuming it.  Just makes it harder to make illegal because the FDA can't touch it if they say it's not intended to be consumed.

So don't freak out about the bath salts under your sink, there's nothing wrong with those :)
