Now the waiting begins

I think I nailed the interview! I was interviewed by three women, one of them I went to grad school with. They asked me 3 pages of questions and I asked them a lot of questions too. One reason I think it went well is I had to give an example of something I would like to implement, I suggested having a "Funday Friday" where anyone could come to a centralized location and we would explore different art materials/artists. A little later on when asking my questions, the head of the department said you could definitely do "Funday Friday." I'm taking it as a sign : )

Now for the 1-2 week waiting period, ugh. If I get called back, I interview with the three women plus a few more people from the department I would be working in and have to plan and demonstrate an art therapy intervention. Then they will make a decision.

Re: Now the waiting begins

  • Yay!! Congratulations on doing so well! It must've been nice to already know one of the women who was interviewing you. I hope the wait to hear back is closer to one week than two, since it sounds like you totally rocked it.

  • Yeah for nailing the interview!  The waiting is by far the hardest part.
