"the big game" plans?

anyone have anything planned for the superbowl? anyone go all out with partying?

Re: "the big game" plans?

  • i've never been a pro-football fan. i have gone to superbowl games when i was a lot younger with family, but moreso for the good food and friends my age who were there to play with! hah

since guam is a day ahead, i was at WORK on "superbowl sunday" but this year i'm in texas. we'll be with DHs family, but i dont really forsee us doing anything big for the game - if it will even be on.

  • Im like you Steph, I dont care for the game.  We will be going to a birthday party earlier in the day for our nephew, then to my parents for the game and food :)  I have no idea what everyone (or myself) will be making yet.  We need to get on that!
  • We've invited people to come over to our place to watch, but so far, only two people have said that they're planning on coming.  I don't mind if those two want to come, but if no one else comes, too, I think I'm going to let them know that it's not exactly going to be a big party.  Smile

  • DH and I host a party at our house every year. Neither of us are really into NFL, but it's a good excuse to have a party, and it's become a tradition that a lot of people really enjoy. We usually have about 20 people over.

  • John is off work, so we are going to a big party with the football team he plays on.  Most of the guys and their families haven't met Chase yet, so this should be fun.
  • We'll watch at home, but more so for the commercials.

  • Not a thing! Honestly, I couldnt' care less about it, even the commercials and I've never once watched. My friend did invite me over to someone's party (the woman who's husband just passed away is having some people over) but I'm not sure if Lucie and I will go. DH is going to watch in our hometown with some friends so I may just go with and hang out with my parents who won't be watching either!
