So my friend is doing a 30th b day celebration in Wine country on Sat before valentine's day. Hubs and I decided to make it a weekend, stay out there and have brunch on Sunday before going home. Any recs for places to stay and places that do brunch ? I dont believe Ive ever tried to do a meal before 2 out there !
Re: Wine Country Recs ?
The Wine Country is pretty big, are you guys going tasting in Sonoma, Napa, Healdsburg, Dry Creek, or Russian River area?
I could probably give you some recs if I knew exactly what area. Also Jamie (Jamers...with some numbers) would be able to help you out if you're friends with her on FB.
We really liked Celedon and downtown Napa. It's a little pricey, but for a special occasion it's perfect.
ETA. We stayed at the Inn on First and it was super romantic and nice. The owners were amazing. Highly recommend it!
Tea Time for Lulu
Since I lived there I have a hard time recommending places to stay since I never stayed anywhere.
But my favorite place to have brunch is Gillwoods on Main Street in St. Helena.
