the salsa chicken i made last night was AMAZINGLY good!
it's a keeper for sure!
it makes quite a bit too - having leftovers of it tomorrow and over the weekend

 

4-5 bonesless skinless chicken breasts (frozen)
24oz jar of salsa (any kind)
1 can nacho cheese or cheddar cheese
taco seasoning packet
rice, tortillas, cheese, sour cream - optional

combine the first 4 ingredients in your slow cooker and cook on low for 11-12 hrs.  shred chicken and serve over rice or in a tortilla.

  • we put ours in tortillas w/ cheese and sour cream...yummo!
    the tortillas started getting soft and splitting because of the heat and salsa juice, but it didn't bother me in the least having it drip down my hands Smile
