Where to buy - TV stand/entertainment center

we are going to Best Buy tonight to look at a 42" plasma HDTV, and I was wondering where we should look for a TV stand... I have looked online at Ikea and Target, but have not been impressed. I would like to spend under $300 so I can get some bookshelves also.

Any suggestions??

good question - i was going to suggest ikea or target. there's also west elm. i doubt they are under $300 but i recently saw some that i loved at crate& barrel and also at pottery barn.

Not sure what your style is, but we got ours from World Market. It was under $150.

I bought mine a long time ago at Buy Design. It's really simple and has held up really well. I want to say I bought it for 200 bucks.

What part of town are you in? UnderPriced Furniture has very competitive pricing compared to other furniture stores. But if you aren't looking for an actual furniture piece that might not last you forever, but still look cute... I'd go for Ikea.

You'll also find a good number of them at Best Buy. At our store, they are all along the wall.

We got ours from BB but uh.... yeah. No where NEAR $300.

For that price, I'd be fine with IKEA. It will last for a little while and be in your price range.

I looked at C&B and loved some of theirs, but way too expensive...

I am on the south side of Atlanta, but I go up to Marietta pretty much every weekend, and would go anywhere in Metro ATL for a good deal.

Where is World Market??? There used to be one in Fayetteville and I loved that place, but it closed about 2 years ago

I will check our Buy Design and UnderPriced Furniture. I think there is an unclaimed freight in Union City still... I may look there tomorrow on my way home from work.

I would love to get something nicer, but I need to pay off medical bills and save some of my tax return.
