Well, i dont really have a project this week. I am trying to find a spot in our budget where i can put away a few hundred extra dollars a month for that just-in-case fund. Its so hard lately - I feel like we're basically living paycheck to paycheck. And that's NOT fun.

Re: Workshop Wednesday
I got another invitation client! Working on some designs for her this week and then once I get sample supplies I'll be work on putting together a sample for my other client.
Yay!
Deb, sorry to hear she didn't go with your invite! I know you worked hard on it! Hopefully others will go for your work!
Lauren, congrats on another client! That is so exciting!
We are not really working on anything right now. I do think we will get to hanging pictures soon, but nothing yet. I want to get our wedding pictures before hanging other stuff around the house. Maybe in the next few weeks!
I'm really excited about the project DH and I are going to start working on this weekend!!!
I was going through a magazine and saw some river rock placemats and hot plates that I thought were really neat, and I showed them to DH and how I thought it would be fun to do them and DH knowing that I was wanting to do a back splash board in our kitchen suggested doing the same thing but for a back splash! So we are going to go to Home Depot and look at their river rocks and get the mdf board and hes going to help me make it! I also think we are going to get one of those window sill flower boxes and screw that into the mdf board in the middle and I may put some bamboo and orchids in there. I think it would look really good with the dark cabinets that we have in there and the orchids will bring some color into the kitchen too!
I'm really excited, I will def post pictures when it's done!
The only thing I am hesitant about is the orchids. I really want to have real orchids in there, but I'm not sure how hard it is to keep them and take care of them. I need to do some research on it!!
That sounds really cool!! Good luck and can't wait to see the pics!
