So I'm making a list of recipes to make in the weeks before Felicity arrives. One's that will make a lot and freeze well, so we dont have to worry about cooking, just reheating.
I'm planning on doing a trial run with them this month.
What were the recipes you used that you would recommend?

Re: Mommas!
Like aleesh said, italian dishes freeze well, as do mexican dishes.
Here's 2 blogs that have freezer recipes, one is specifically from when she was stocking before baby.

Also here are 2 mexican recipes:
This one is for a 9x13, but since there's 2 of us, I put it into 2 8x8's and freeze one.

This one makes a lot more than she says, so I usually roll them up and put them into ziplocs, then freeze and pull out however many we want onto a cookie sheet.

Here's a spanish rice recipe we also use and does freeze well. It's very basic, so I'll add some spices or rotel to give it kick.

lasagna
chili
sausage and peppers
not frozen:
anything crockpot is easy (which you can freeze the extras)
tacos are easy
one of those already made rotisserie chickens with premade mashed potatoes. all you have to do is heat this meal up. we like the green bags that you steam in the bag with this.

Nick's mom made us stew and we froze it, it was great. And another vote for lasagna.
I don't have any suggestions, but all three of these are things that I ate early on that made Riley extremely gassy/screamy. Just a thought if you plan on BFing. The sausage and peppers were the worst by far, but anything with a lot of cheese and tomato sauce in the first few weeks upset her stomach.
