BFN :o(

Ok, so I know it's prob b/c it was too early, but that blows.

On another note... It never gets any less embarrassing to buy a pregnancy test... esp when you're buying the jumbo value pack... even at 25 and married, I was 40 shades of red lol.

Re: BFN :o(

  • Sorry, Big Fat Negative

Shawnee, I think I implanted day before yesterday so I'm thinking I'll test on Weds. Are you guys trying, not-not trying or actively boning?

  • Oh and Michelle, my mom thought your contagious comment on FB was the funniest thing ever...

lol  Brian looked at me and told me that it better not be contagious.  Secretly I think I am ready but we agreed to wait.  I am not getting any younger.  We want 2 and would prefer 3-4 years apart.  I am already 31 so that doesn't leave long.  We really should start soon in my eyes.  At the same time, I am scared to death at the prospect.  I just don't know

  • I thought I was going to need to buy one last month, and at 29 and married it is still embarassing...luckily AF did show up because we aren't TTC till our cruise.  Although I would have been happy if we were too...

  • DH and I are 32/31. Kind of same boat as Michelle. Ready but scared. We want 2-3 and I want to be done by 35/36. Before we were married, DH said I could get pregnant anytime I wanted. I wanted to wait until we were married at minimum. We had a convo last night about when we would try for kids. I said end of year? He said he didn't know. We are ready, just not in the $ department. Then we went to bed and didn't use any protection. We usually use condoms, I have been off the pill for a year. He didn't go for one and I didn't say anything, soo... I looked at an ovulation calendar this morning and yesterday was my most fertile ovulation day. Oops?

  • Gotcha... we've kinda decided that if it's meant to be it will. I've been told for so long that the chance of me being fertile are slim to none that I'd be absolutely thrilled.

  • good luck :) I think you tested too early. I read it takes at least 6-12 days after implantation to get enough HCG in your system to make a positive.

  • It's crazy how our minds (and bodies) play tricks on us.  I know you are disappointed, but don't fret.  It will happen.  There's something in the water around here... :-P
