Thanks! I hope I get it. I've been laid off for way, too, long!
Anthony's doing great ;o) His sugar's been hanging around 130 for the past 2 weeks. We've introduced a little bit of carbs back - whole wheat pasta and such. We have cheated a couple of times, but in moderation. His doctor doubled his dose of meds. We have another appointment with her next week. As long as he continues to eat right and take some weight off, he will be able to come off the meds again.

Thats awesome that hes doing better! I can only imagine how hard it is to completely change the way you eat. Speaking of pasta when I was preggo with L I had to see a nutritionist and she recommended a pasta called Smart Taste. She said that many of her diabetic patients were able to eat it without any spike in their blood sugar. Something to do with the carbs and the fiber. Here is a link..

We eat it more often than we do the whole wheat its really good.
