So I know you all remember that my dad had his prostate removed in Oct 09. His numbers after that were great and we were thrilled and thought we could move on with our lives. Well then I think I posted that he had another PSA test done last summer and that his number had gone from a .01 to a .1, which is not good. The docs speculated that his number could be "settling in." They said that they would wait another 6 months and do one more test. If his number went up again, it would mean radiation.
So here we are. My dad had the test done 2 weeks ago and goes in for a consultation to receive the results tomorrow. I'm praying that he does not have to have radiation. If you could add one more thought/prayer to your list tonight, my family and I would be forever grateful.
