DD - pretty pretty princess 2nd wedding?
I don't see this post anymore - from what I saw, people were being very honest about it being totally attention grabby. why the DD?? Just didn't like that people were telling her that it wasn't OK?
Re: DD - pretty pretty princess 2nd wedding?
awh- hate that I missed that! Even though I know its a no-no and pretty tacky... if I ever get married again I think I will go full out pretty pretty princess again. (my first wasn't too PPP, so the same level but to me it was my PPP day) That being said, my DH and I have a great marriage and we don't believe in divorce- except in the most dire of circumstances (like if he was to be abusive I would so be gone! but he's a pussycat so that won't happen!)
So, anyway, my 2nd wedding, if I get one, will be when I am old and widowed! haha... so it will be "oh how crazy is that that Grandma is having a full out PPP wedding!"
Oh, Emiliana - you don't know the best part of it. She was asking about a 2nd wedding to the SAME GUY!! As in, they had been married young, got divorced, have "grown up" and realized they are perfect for each other, and now she wants the big wedding.
There was also the DD about the promiscuous SIL where we started questioning the FRIENDS who were all so willing to sleep w/ their friends sister.... ????

Isn't the divorce rate for marrying the same person again something like 90-95%?
Damn, I missed it. Was there any indication that they had worked through something huge or tragic? Otherwise, I think you're right, it's really high.
