How often do you get your LOs pictures taken?
When my neice was a baby, my sister took her every 3 months to have them done. I have had Levi's done twice so far...I'm thinking of scheduling one soon since he's almost 10 months old and it'll be Easter pics too.
Am I a slacker in this department, or was my sister just excessive?

I would have loved to do professional pictures every 3 months but I just can't justify the expense when I have such a good camera and the ability to take and then edit photos myself. So instead I take them every month with random other photoshoots thrown in like we did one for Christmas and one for Valentines Day.
As far as professional pictures go we did a newborn shoot and will do a first birthday shoot just because I want pictures of all 3 of us for those. I would ideally like to do a family photoshoot every summer.
As far as professional pics go, we did the newborn photos, I went to JCP for her 6months and I will probably look for a good photographer for 1 year pics only because I want a new family photo at that time too. We may do the JCP for 9 month pics... but that is a maybe right now.
We are on the every 3 mo plan with JCP. We did newborn, 3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, and will do 12 mo photos, too. It's just because they change so much in the first year. My mom took my older brother and I several times and I love seeing the pictures of us, so I wanted to do the same for our kids. We plan on doing the same thing for all of our children at least the first year. I doubt we'll do formal portraits after the first year as regularly...perhaps annually (for things like our Christmas cards), but I doubt they'll be pro photos. We NEVER pay full price for our prints. I've always had a 40 or 50% off coupon off all prints and never pd more than $100 for a ton of prints with different poses. I also never pay sitting fees.
What I think is cool is that we paid a small fee to archive our pics with JCP, too. So right now we get these 10x10 collages of M each photo session and we have them going up our main stairwell. When we have other kids, since we archived the photos, we'll be able to do one 10x10 collage with pictures of each of our children in the same photo at the same age if that makes sense. For example one 10x10 collage will be all of our little ones (we hope to have 3 kids) at newborn, at 3 mo, etc.
