actually did the wife chop edited with PIP
So I was undecided about doing a wife chop, but I was looking at pics online yesterday of pixie type cuts and decided I was going to do it. DH didn't believe me so he was shocked when I was done. I went to the place I got my wedding hair done because they seemed more professional and for something like a major chop I wanted a trusted place.
Anyway...since I still can't PIP, I'll have to look over the posts about it, I'll just describe it. From what I can see in siggy pics it's a little shorter than Emdizzle's, but looks close to hers. It was slightly below my shoulders and one length. Now it's all textured and short. I actually wanted to go shorter, but the stylist seemed to think it would look better a little longer on top and I went with her opinion since I've never had my hair this short before.

For the wedding I grew my hair long, and the day after the wedding I chopped it off, in my siggy pic you can kinda see it. But I had the top part pulled back, it was too short to put up.
Now that your mentioning this I've realized I really need to get a hair cut. I love having my hair short.

I did it, but I soon realized that i need longer hair to maintain everyday....i did a chin bob, now its starting to grow out....i do half up half down every day.....i need a trim but dont want to lose length....im gonna do atleast below my collarbone...i have a pic on facebook...part of me misses the length

I chopped 5" off of mine and still somewhat regret it...but I have gotten a lot of compliments on the new length!

I've had my hair tht short once before. It was so hard to take care of (my hair does weird things in the back when it's short) so I do hope you have better luck than I did. LOL
I wanted to chop my hair after the wedding but Keith didn't want me to. But now he's starting to *** about it being too long (it gets in his nose when we're in bed. lmao). lol So, I still can't decide what to do.

DH was actually pretty supportive about the hair cut. He's only seen me with my hair one way...all one length, but from chin length to shoulder length. When my hair is long I rarely do anything to it...it just gets in my way. I couldn't imagine having longer than shoulder length hair. DH was up for seeing something different than a pony tail lol.
While I'm not as good as the stylist at doing my hair this short I got some good tips and did pretty well on my own today. I was rushed too. It's easier for me than when my hair was longer I think.

I was so ready for the wife chop. I hadn't had a haircut in three years. I cut it to my chin after the wedding, about 16 inches. Bleh, I still need to mail it to Pantene's Great Beautiful Lengths. I do miss it long, though I did need the change. The first time I washed my hair I had to put half the shampoo back in the bottle :P

Im a proud wife chopper too! lol It took about a year and a half to grow it out to this....
then after we got back from the HM I stopped at the nearest super cuts lol for my super short cut that I ALWAYS have. Long hair is not for me...lol i don't know what to with it...(it's an OLD photo buts its always just about the same cut some times more pixie tho)
