1. A friend's first baby was stillborn a couple days ago...funeral today. Maybe a month and a half short of the due date. I don't know what happened exactly, things had been great until recently---we just know they lost the baby. My heart just hurts for them. They are in total shock. So sad.
2. I think I reported this last week, but a friend has brain cancer and surgery to remove the tumor was unsuccessful...original pathology report came back, but more samples sent to Mayo for further testing...the family didn't want to know what the original report said until the Mayo report came back. Next week probably.
3. I just found out a friend from high school has leukemia. I don't think he is taking visitors or talking to anyone but his family right now. He has a wife and young children. Please pray for Luke.
4. Another friend's baby in the womb has fluid on the brain and on his lungs, along with some other problems. We got a prayer chain request from them yesterday, they are determining when to do a C section so the doctors can do what they do I guess.
5. I know I'm forgetting someone right now...I feel terrible...so prayers for the one I am forgetting. ![]()
GAH. My mind and heart are so heavy. So much sadness. Please lift them up in prayer or send up well wishes. Thanks, girlies.
Re: LOTS of T&P needed for multiple people...this has been a sad week.

~~~~~Prayers sent~~~~~
These are all heavy situations. Even though I don't know any of them personally I will keep them in my prayers.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Ditto... I'm so sorry Erika, be strong for them, they're luck to have a friend like you.
So many prayers to them.
Keeping them in my thoughts and prayers!
Btw, it was discovered that I had fluid on the brain (it's called hydrocephalus) when my mom was 7 months pregnant with me. I was delivered about a month early, and had brain surgery when I was 3 days old. It sounds terrifying, and I can't imagine what my mom was thinking and going through then, but it is treatable. I'm still here 26 years (and a few more surgerys) later. Definitely keeping them in my T&Ps!
