GTG QUESTION

Ok so I am buying my ticket tonight and when I was looking up prices to fly it is $150 cheaper to fly into O Hare compared to Midland. And I also can get a direct flight into O Hare while flying into Midland I would need to change planes.

So would it be easier to pay the extra and fly into Midland or fly into OHare and then take a cab to the hotel? I have never taken a cab before so I have no clue what it would cost me.

Thanks for your help!

Re: GTG QUESTION

  • If I were you I would save the money and fly into O'Hare. You can get that 3 day CTA Pass and take the orange line into the city. I don't know where the closest stop to the hotel is but that would be easy enough to figure out.
  • Agree with Paige. I think it doesn't matter which airport you use, just go with the cheapest. I've actually never flown out of Midway, but I don't think one is significantly closer to downtown than the other.
  • Thanks so much for the input. I could not believe the price difference between the 2 airports. And thank goodness you knew what I was talking about. I meant Midway..
