I made crockpot pot roast today. NOT THE CONFESSION.
Confession: It's just me and K tonight. He doesn't eat it (we're back in picky toddler land) and DH is at work. DH doesn't "like" leftovers.. so theres a WHOLE crockpot full of deliciousness sitting here. What am I doing? Eating all the carrots out of it. My mom is stopping by and she'll eat it, but she won't eat the carrots.
It's what any sane person would do right?
Confession: I had a police man come to the door tonight. NOT fun times.
Re: confession:
Enjoy the carrots! and did a certain little man pick up the phone and dial 911??
no.. thank goodness.
We live on a street with a school and NO ONE has their sidewalks cleared. Usually we are the only ones who have our little stretch done but for some reason MH doesn't feel he "needed" to do it no matter how much I complained. WELP. Now they are coming around tonight issuing warnings that it needs to be done by Monday. What kills me is directly in front of the school is done but the walk (still on school property) that runs down the street is not done. So hopefully the city or the school is getting on that.
Yeah it's really bad. The kids are literally walking in the middle of the street. My superintendent just sent out an email to everyone basically asking for parents to drop off their kids. I have had a few students who have to walk to school and have had to stay home and miss school b/c of the snow!
Oh and my mom hates carrots too...I would totally have to eat them all too!
I have cringed on the days they DO in fact have school when they walk home.. people around here drive like idiots!! although we only have the front of our house, there are sidewalks all up and down the street and I really hope this means people will dig out.
