As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Interview tomorrow!
I don't usually post about my interviews, but I'm going to need some T & P tomorrow if you have any to spare. My interview for the events job is at 3pm tomorrow, and after a lot of thinking/reflecting/wine these past few weeks, I've realized it's what I really REALLY want. I mean yeah, a director role would be great - but I would be working SO MUCH MORE for not that much money. I think this would be something I enjoyed that also had a good work/life balance. Plus, I'd still be around to (hopefully) transition my staff as easily as possible.
So anyway, if you have any T & P lying around at 3pm (central time), I'd appreciate them!

He had his second interview and it went really well again and then they passed his info along to HR and we're waiting for them to call (which feels like an eternity, you know - it's only been a week). However, he just got promoted to team leader at his current job, which comes with a pay raise and another step closer to management, so now he's torn if he wants to leave or if he just wants to stick it out and shoot for management, where he'd be much much happier. He would make an awesome boss lol. Thanks for asking!
That's great - it's always better to have more options! I
being a manager - it's often tough, but so rewarding.
