when all this snow finally melts
I am praying it doesn't all come inside..but I have a feeling it has nowhere else to go.
Re: when all this snow finally melts
I spoke too soon.. it's now coming in the basement from the window!
AWESOME.
I had a nightmare about this very thing before the last storm! All I remember is going to look in the basement, seeing the rug ripped out, white tile underneath with the nail stripping edge all over and me yelling "not again!"...then I see my parents trying to clean up the water, which last time my dad had open heart surgery the day before the water came in for us, so it was actually good to see him there i guess. But it has been on my mind like crazy now, i check all thetime...although today i told myself not to go down there and i haven't (yet).
oh, I did make DH clear out the storm drain the other night when he came home from work...which was pretty late too. I made him did out our extension hose we have attached to the pump we had put in after flood too. Who knows if it would even help at that point, but i feel a tiny bit better.
You rock! Hopefully I won't need to ask, but it's awesome to know you offered
