Hi!
It has been a crazy few days but H and I are home tonight with the babies and are trying to figure everything out. It is nice to be home but at the same time I already miss having a nurse check on us every couple of hours. The babies seem to be doing really well, and H has been world's best dad since the minute they were born. I am recovering from the c-section and it is painful and slow. I was in labor for about 15 hours but it was not painful at all. I had an epidural a few hours in and was just relaxing with H and our families and watching TV, waiting for some progression in my cervix. My doctor let me wait it out for quite a while but my water broke at 6:30AM so by 9:00PM we were getting worried about the risk of infection to the babies and decided to go ahead with the c-section.
I appreciate everyone asking about me and checking in! Thanks, Lauren, for keeping everyone updated and posting the picture! I have some more on Facebook and I will put a few on my blog tonight if I get the chance. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone for your support and encouragement.

So glad to hear from you! That pic is precious! They will be the best of friends and will also be wrestling each other in no time! I'm sorry you had to have a c-section bc i know you didnt want one
The first few weeks will be the hardest esp with recovery but that soon will pass! Enjoy your perfect little bundles of joy!
